Food Truck & Event Ordering
A long line should not be the only way customers can order food at a busy event. Potent Technology helps food trucks and event vendors set up a mobile ordering workflow where customers scan a QR code, view the live menu, choose modifiers, pay on their phone, see the current wait time and order status, and return only when the order is ready. The same setup can also simplify employee clock-in, breaks, hours, kitchen routing, and sold-out items. Potent configures and connects the workflow around supported POS, payment, and workforce tools rather than handling card data or payroll funds itself.

Potent can start with a mobile-ordering workflow review and implementation plan, then configure the supported ordering/POS platform, menu, modifiers, order states, notifications, employee clock-in workflow, devices, QR signage, and connectivity included in the approved scope. Payment-processing fees, POS subscriptions, workforce/payroll subscriptions, hardware, cellular service, and third-party platform costs are separate and remain with their respective vendors.

Yes. Depending on the ordering platform and the customer's device, the ready alert may be delivered by text message, browser notification, sound, vibration, or another supported notification method. Potent will favor the simplest reliable method for the actual operating environment.
Modifiers should be structured rather than buried in an open text box whenever possible. Potent can organize choices such as no/remove, extra/add, substitutions, sides, and important allergy notes so staff can identify them quickly during a rush. Color can reinforce those differences, but important requests should never rely on color alone.
The workflow should let authorized staff mark an item or modifier unavailable immediately. Once unavailable, customers should no longer be able to pay for that item through the mobile menu.
Yes, when the selected POS or workforce platform supports employee timekeeping. Potent can set up a shared truck tablet or POS for individual employee clock-in/clock-out, breaks, and permissions without relying on a paper time sheet. Payroll processing itself remains with the employer's payroll provider.
Yes. Large events are one of the strongest use cases because customers can place a paid order, leave the pickup area, watch the order status, and return when notified instead of creating a long line in front of the truck or stand.

Potent can review the truck's devices, router/hotspot options, cellular coverage, power, printer/display connections, and fallback plan so the business is not assuming the venue Wi-Fi will carry a payment-critical workflow.
