Computer / device diagnostic
This fee is only for diagnosing an unknown computer or device problem before a repair can be priced. Potent confirms the fee and gets your approval first. If you approve the repair and Potent completes it, the fee is credited toward the final repair invoice. If you decline the repair, the diagnostic fee remains due.
Flat Fee First
Know the repair or project price
Once the actual work can be reasonably scoped, Potent gives you the price before the repair or project continues. If the scope changes, Potent stops and gets approval before the price changes.
The quoted price stays the quoted price for normal approved payment methods. Parts, special travel, subscriptions, hardware, licensing, or third-party costs are separate only when disclosed and approved first. The $39.99 computer/device diagnostic does not apply to installs, projects, or miscellaneous one-off jobs unless Potent specifically says a diagnostic is needed. Hourly work, diagnostic work, and flat-fee work begin only after Potent confirms which approach applies and you approve it.
